Carrier Relations - Wholesale Account Executive

Cara Walker works to develop relationships with all Wholesale Accounts. She enjoys the relationships that she's built with the carrier customers-some for over 15 years. These groups can include leased off-net, leased on-net, customer ordered service, government, etc.

She enjoys developing a solution that fits the customer's needs, being involved in the technical aspect of the business and providing the best service possible to the customer. This is Walker's 20th year in telecom, serving 10 years with the Kansas Independent Telephone companies in a very similar position, and now 10 years with SDN Communications.

Cara lives in Salina, KS and is married to Blaine Spurney who is a stock broker for Wells Fargo.  She also has a son, Tyler; a grandson, Kolten; and a new puppy Sadie Lou who is a 4lb. miniature rat terrier.

When it comes to outdoor activities, Cara loves running, biking, swimming, hiking, golfing, water skiing, snow skiing and kayaking. She loves to cook and to entertain guests, but her favorite is playing with her grandson and teaching him new things.

Diana has worked at SDN Communications for five years, but has been in the telecommunications industry for many more.

She enjoys being the customer contact for anything that comes up during the Wholesale Sales process and is most impressed with how much SDN has expanded in the past couple years. SDN has expanded into eight states and can now reach locations like Minneapolis, Denver, Casper, Omaha, Bismarck, Fargo, Sioux City, etc. for Wholesale services.

She likes SDN's expansive offerings and unprecedented service and turn-up time. From custom fiber builds to near-net locations and wireless backhaul, to Sonet services up to OC-192, she enjoys being able to offer the best services and customer service possible.

Diana has three kids and enjoys boating, hunting, and fishing with her husband.

Dan Eich, Wholesale Sales Engineer

Dan likes the diversity of his sales engineer job, especially being exposed to lots of different technologies because every project is a little different.

Although he's new to SDN, he's spent 15+ years in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Dan has a beautiful wife Melissa, and two kids, Kyler (energetic) age 8, and Maddy (princess) age 7. Dan says they are a pretty active family and when they're not busy chasing the kids, he restores his 1969 Firebird and spends time with family and friends.
